Multicultural Education
It is rare that any two-classroom teachers will have the same definition for multicultural education. The basic goal of multicultural education is to help all children understand and appreciate events and people from various points of view. Teaching with a multicultural perspective encourages appreciation and understanding of other cultures as well as one’s own. Teaching with this perspective promotes the child’s sense of the uniqueness of his own culture as a positive characteristic and enables the child to accept the uniqueness of the cultures of others. Children’s attitudes toward their race and ethnic group and other cultural groups begin to form early in the preschool years. Children are easily influenced by the cultural, opinions, and attitudes of their caregivers. Caregiver’s perceptions of ethnic and racial groups can affect the child’s attitudes toward those minority groups. Early childhood educators can influence the development of positive attitudes in young children by learning about and promoting the various cultures represented among the children they teach. Teachers can help eliminate stereotypes and Teaching in a Multicultural Perspective.

Change in education process
Education can be defined as a program of instruction of a specified kind or level. In today’s society an education is an essential in order to be successful economically and socially. Most people begin their education early on in life with elementary schools, with the hope or intent to attend and graduate high school, an even furthermore go to college and earn a degree. At the same time, this step by step educational process is a rather new idea, not more than twenty five years ago people needed only education in particular job skills and fields to not only obtain a job, but not have to worry about being laid off two weeks later. With the globalization of the world markets through the introduction of Information Technology, or IT, the educational process has changed drastically. The standards of education has risin to a very high level. The more and better educated you are the better and more job opportunities you can get.
